Lotus beauty was inspired by two of my greatest loves—my mother and my life partner. Both have had adverse reactions to common and dermatological treatments for their skin conditions. For generations, the women in my family foraged on their own land, gathering plants and herbs and incorporating nutrient-rich soil to create natural remedies for the health of their families. This led me to conduct research on plants and herbs that are therapeutic for all skin types.. With the help of my good friend and esthetician and many trials—we developed the s(ol) serum. I tried the beard oil as I had issues with breakouts after shaving and patchy hair growth. The oil was very easy to apply and had a subtle pleasant, natural, earthy scent which stood in contrast to the highly fragranced products that are usually found in stores. Not only did the oil help to even out my beard growth, it also softened my hair and the skin below it. This helped prevent the breakouts of ingrown hairs which I have been struggling with.

The Lotus Beauty serum leaves my face feeling moisturized all day! Prior to purchasing the serum I would have to moisturize at least 3x a day but now I just use the serum after washing my face in the morning and I’m good to go! I love the serum because it not only keeps your face feeling refreshed all day, but the oil is also super light and doesn’t make your face feel too oily. I recommend to everyone who’s looking for a daily moisturizer! And did I mention it smells perfect!!
